Kids and Family Portraits

They are as unique as our fingerprints; no two pictures are the same. No two smiles, two looks or two postures. This is especially true of children’s portraits. That’s why I make sure that they enjoy the experience. Children are very perceptive and know instantly when they are in a situation where they feel comfortable. If they’re not, it will show on their faces in the frames that adorn your home.
So let’s have fun! From babies, to toddlers, to children, to teenagers, to adults, portrait photography is to be enjoyed, not endured. That’s why my job as a photographer is to get a variety of expression and emotions to choose from in one sitting. Couples, families, friends, group shots or even school photos, it is important to capture the essence of each and every individual at that split second in time. You’ll never be able to recapture it again.
But not everyone feels comfortable being in front of the lens, which is totally understandable. That’s why my relaxed and friendly manner puts even the most nervous client at ease. There is beauty in all of us and now is the time to show it. And the pictures can be taken almost anywhere.
Who said portraits had to be taken in a studio? I can bring my mobile studio to you, where you can feel extra comfortable posing in front of different colour backgrounds, or perhaps different locations inside, outside, in the nearby park, seaside, wherever! The picture is you and the canvass is endless.
